Since then, there have been a variety of legal troubles for people who were close to Smith, as various individuals fight to reclaim items and property that the aged Playmate left behind.

Today, evidence came forth suggesting that Smith may have used "sex" as a way to obtain favors and status. Pictures of Smith in bed with a Bahamanian official who granted her residency on the island several years ago were published on the front page of the local newspaper. This is the first time Smith´s image had been displayed in a sexually suggestive pose in a publicly available work.

Meanwhile, the ownership of her Bahamas estate is still up in the air. No one has claimed her implants, though.
