ABCNews - American Cancer Society researchers have published a study of over 200,000 men that concludes that smokeless tobacco still holds health risks and is not a safer alternative to cigarettes.  Apparently there are actual medical doctors that recommend smokeless tobacco over smoking as the lesser of two evils.  Paging Dr. Reynolds and Dr. Morris to the press room.

Though the smokeless tobacco user does not inhale anything he is still 46% more likely to acquire lung cancer than someone who uses no tobacco at all.  In addition smokeless tobacco contains 100x more cancer causing agents than the FDA allows in any food product, making it a great value for cancer seekers!  A related study indicates that if you have looked at, touched or thought about a tobacco product you are 27% more likely to develop cancer.  Cancer!
